I’ve been the mom holding her breath in the parking lot, hoping the session goes smoothly. I’ve also been the mom who walked away from a full session with two photos she actually loved — and a real twinge of buyer’s remorse.
That experience is exactly what shaped how I work. I built this business around candid moments — kids exactly as they are, no pressure to hold a perfect smile, no stiff posing. Just real connection in front of the lens. And I built the mini session model for the seasons of life when a full hour feels like a lot. Minis are also perfect for capturing how quickly your littles are changing — I loved booking a few throughout the year when mine were small, because the way they grow is impossible to keep up with on an iPhone when they’re moving a mile a minute.

I'm Cydne
Las Vegas native, mom of two, and a wedding videographer of ten years who fell in love with families along the way.
I came to family photography the long way around. Nine years behind a video camera at weddings (something I still happily do) taught me how to anticipate the real moments — the unprompted laugh, the quiet hand squeeze nobody asked for, the look between two people who think no one’s watching. That’s the same eye I bring to your family session.
Then I had my own kids. Like a lot of moms, I booked a full hour-long session, paid a lot for it, and walked away with maybe two photos I loved while my toddler had a meltdown through the rest. I knew there had to be a better way to do this — for the mom, the kids, and the whole family. So I built one.
When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me chasing my own two littles, learning to quilt (badly, but happily), or hiking the mountains around Vegas. I just moved back to my hometown, and I’m so glad to be photographing families here.
