Christine & Austin got married at the BoaVentura Winery in Livermore, California! They were originally set to have a big wedding in 2020, but we all know how that went for brides during COVID. Like the rest of the world, they pivoted their plans quickly. They still wanted to get married asap, so they had a small elopement outside in a beautiful field with a few family and friends.
And then, one year later, they had the wedding of their dreams at the beautiful BoaVentura Winery! I’ll share their wedding video at the bottom of this post, so make sure to scroll down and watch. They are the sweetest couple and I’m so glad they finally got to have their big day!
Christine & Austin met in college and bonded over helping set their friends up to date. While setting up friends, they quickly ended up falling for each other instead!! They dated throughout college, and went through entering the “real world” together and getting their first jobs, apartment, & dog! They are truly best friends who are getting married!
They included so many personal elements in their day! From getting married at a winery (because they got engaged at a winery and love wine), to the custom painting of their corgi on the drink menu. And let’s not forget about the delicious paella they served their guests! One of my favorite things about working in the wedding industry is seeing all the personal elements couples bring into their day! I’ll never get tired of it!
They were so amazing to pivot and hold their plans loosely when COVID hit. Their elopement looked beautiful and was captured by The Daring Ones photography (linked below). I loved being able to include it in their wedding video, because it was all part of the same story (even if it was a year apart!)
