When I began filming weddings in las vegas over 7 years ago, there was a formula for everything. Every film looked exactly the same. Edited with the same music. The same frames. Rinse and repeat.
I prefer to do things differently. By capturing emotion, thinking outside of the box, and capturing your story in a one-of-a-kind way. Because your story is unique. And your wedding film should be too.

It's rare to have the majority of your loved ones together in one place, at one time. Naturally, you're excited! But, time passes by so quickly that you can't possibly remember every special moment as it truly was.
At my own wedding rehearsal, some of our closest friends and family shared emotional speeches and stories. To be able to go back and relive those is really special. And I want to give you the same gift.
From the very beginning I'll get to know you, your story, and the people that matter most to you, so I can incorporate footage and tell your story in a way that is most meaningful to you.

When you hear filmmaker you may naturally assume you won't be able to enjoy your moments, because a full production crew will be following you around. With me it's just the opposite.
While I ensure your most special moments are covered beautifully, there is no big production here. I capture your moments naturally and candidly as they unfold so you can enjoy the experience. And rather than interrupting or staging a moment I stay back and blend in.
I keep gear simple and unobtrusive. And rather than taking up more of your time filming separately, I'll work seamlessly with your photographer to capture it all at once. Focusing on the feelings that make the experience so special. And a film you'll be excited to look back on.

I've always been drawn to the feeling of nostalgia. That's why I love looking at old photos and videos.
My goal with your wedding film is to remind you of the feeling of falling in love. And give you a film that allows you to look back with your spouse and feel the memories created, in this beautiful chapter of your story.

MY CHILDHOOD NICKNAME "SQUID" HAS PRETTY MUCH STUCK WITH ME MY WHOLE LIFE. JUST LIKE YOUR FILM, IT'S DESIGNED TO BE PERSONAL AND MEANINGFUL.
Pronounced Sydney, like the city in Australia. And yes, if you're getting married there, I have my passport at the ready! I've travelled for 90% of my weddings and will happily go anywhere your love takes you!
