Chiang Mai, Thailand | Destination Wedding Videographer

Austin and Annie had one of my favorite weddings ever. Make sure to watch the video at the end to see their full day (spoiler: it was a week!) They are the sweetest couple that has been dating for 8 years. They wanted a unique day that was authentic to them, so they chose to fly to Chiang Mai, Thailand with their whole family and close friends for their wedding at an Elephant sanctuary.

These two spent a week in Chiang Mai, Thailand with their wedding party! Feeding elephants, rafting the river, visiting temples…it was a vacation of a lifetime with all their loved ones. I kind of can’t think of a better way to celebrate your wedding day.

The wedding started with their first look at a temple, where they followed with a traditional buddhist ceremony. Then they got married, while one of their friends officiated, in the forest in front of an elephant. (How cool is that?!) Their vows were the SWEETEST vows and had all their friends & family in tears. Austin had vows to Annie’s daughters too. It was so meaningful to see the families blend during the ceremony.

And the two daughters surprised Austin after the ceremony with the sweet words of “you’re officially our dad”! Which of course left him in tears. You can see how much this family loves each other.

I just loved capturing every minute of this day.

After the bride and groom had said “I Do”, the party continued up the mountain watching the sunset, eating, dancing, hearing speeches, and releasing lanterns into the sunset. It was one of the most equally epic & authentic days I’ve ever had the honor of capturing.

I also made sure to incorporate some of their vacation footage into their film so they could relive the whole trip again. It is one of those celebrations that needs to be viewed as a whole week, not just one day. See for yourself below:
