Allan and Sara asked me to film their Malibu Ranch wedding in 2018. It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Calamigos Ranch and they threw such a great event I just had to share it now! The venue was the perfect backdrop for a day of celebration with their family and friends.

There was so much fun and laughter as they each got ready on their own. They shared a first look together and had a special time before seeing their guests. The couple exchanged their vows under gorgeous trees and surrounded by greenery. It couldn’t have been more perfect and was really fun to film!

Some incredible photos were taken by Richard Busath Photography on the stunning grounds. They even got to take pictures in front of a Ferris wheel at the ranch! What a fun and unique feature of the venue! I love to shoot weddings in California because of the beautiful scenery.

They danced the night away at their reception which included a special surprise song performed by their family members. All of the great wedding traditions were included from meaningful toasts to bouquet and garter tosses, as well as a little cake smash in each other’s faces. After great food and drink, so much dancing, and even more smiles and laughter, Allan and Sara had a rose petal farewell which was the perfect ending to their Malibu ranch wedding!

I had such a great time being a part of Allan and Sara’s day and watching how joyful everyone was during this wedding. I recently had the opportunity to shoot her younger sister’s wedding and I can’t wait to share that with you soon, too!
